Insect Resistance Management

The risk of insect resistance is real but may be reduced with proper planning. To help preserve the effectiveness and benefits of Bacillus thuringiensis (B.t.) technology, farmers are required to follow an Insect Resistance Management (IRM) plan. Farmers must read the Technology Use Guide prior to planting for details on planting a refuge and other requirements of the IRM Plan.
